Snapshots from MAPETS - 2009
It's always more fun if you're there, but the comments around the coffee urn or at the banquet were that this was the best PETS the participants had seen yet.
The luncheon speaker was a special guest, John Kenny, Rotary International President for 2009-10 who will be installed this summer in Birmingham, England at the Rotary International Convention. Kenny's theme for the next year is "The Future of Rotary Is in Your Hands." He admonished every Rotarian that we all are responsible to see Rotary's Polio project through until the end - when new infections of Polio are completely eliminated. Close is not good enough! Our reputation is on the line.

Thank you for your time and effort to create lasting memories and stimulating others to attend next year. As a result of all the local support the MAPETS board added two more years on the contract to have the event in Fort Smith. ---A.C. MONCRIEF
